EXAM PATTERN
How NIOS assesses learners
Patterns are reviewed regularly. We update practice material whenever the board releases new papers or guidelines.

NIOS public examinations are held twice a year, usually in April–May and October–November.

Tutor Marked Assignments (TMAs) form part of the assessment in most subjects.

Credits can be accumulated across exam sessions within the admission validity period.
